New Albany Real Estate Market Update
Existing-home sales in New Albany slowed slightly in January and February with some potential buyers trying to time the market and others waiting for higher loan limits on conventional financing. It’s too early in the year to make any good market predictions for 2008 though if showing activity on homes listed for sale is an indicator, we may be turning the corner. None of the “experts” seem to be able to agree on what is going to happen this year. The top economist for the National Association of Realtors predicts a 3rd or 4th quarter improvement while other economists seem less optimistic.
One thing we know for sure is that houses are selling and Tony and I continue to aggressively market our properties to make sure they are among the “solds”. If you would like specific information about your neighborhood or an area outside of New Albany, just give us a call. Let us know if you are considering a move and would like a confidential market analysis to understand how your home fits into today’s real estate market. We are here to assist you in any way we can.
