Through a Child's Eyes

A friend sent me this several months ago – letters to God written by children.   They really seem to get it right.   In these times of upheaval and uncertainty, much can be learned from them.

Dear God, I am an American.   What are you?   Robert

Dear God, Maybe Cain and Able would not kill each other so much if they had their own rooms.   It works with my brother.   Larry

Dear God, I bet it’s very hard for you to love all of everybody in the whole world.   There are only 4 people in our family and I can never do it. Nan

Dear God, I think about you sometimes even when I’m not praying.   Elliott

Dear God, Thank you for the baby brother but what I wanted was a puppy.   Joyce

Dear God, Please put a holiday between Christmas and Easter.   There is nothing good in there.   Ginny

Dear God, We read that Thomas Edison made light.   But in Sunday school they said you did it.   So I bet he stoled your idea. Sincerely, Donna

Dear God, If you let the dinosaur not exstinct we would not have a country.   You did the right thing.   Jonathan
