Winter 2011 eNewsletter
Back by Popular Demand!
After suffering a year of “writer’s block”, I decided it was time to get back to my newsletter – I miss staying in touch with all of you and surprisingly, have had many requests to start to do it again. So thanks for the kind words. My plan is to produce it quarterly and we will distribute by email and not snail mail – hope that’s ok with you! You are receiving this because you are either a friend, past client, current client or future client!
2011 is going to be a landmark year for Tony and me – come May, we will officially be true empty nesters! Will graduates in May from the College of Charleston. It was touch and go the first 2 weeks of this last semester. It seems that the computer at CofC dropped him from every one of his classes, including 2 he HAD to have to graduate. After battling with machines, bureaucracy, and grumpy professors, he’s finally worked it out and has been reinstated to his classes. He says that he may be sitting on the floor for one of them but he doesn’t care. I think he’s ready for what comes next. “Next” would be more fun if it didn’t require a huge job search but we’re proud of him…he’s working hard at finding work!
In case you didn’t know, Katherine moved to NYC in June last year – she’s still pursuing her dream of a career on stage though I think it’s been harder than she ever imagined. She pays her way by bartending and waitressing at a boutique hotel in Murray Hill – when done she trains to her apartment on Mott Street. I thought Mott was in Little Italy but it appears to be considered Chinatown now. She’s happy and sure the world is about to discover her!
We aren’t sure which way the winds are blowing for real estate yet this year…the phones are ringing which is a good sign. Please be in touch if you want to talk about the market, your current home, a new home, OR if you just want to talk! We love hearing from you. Stay in touch and we’ll do the same! Hope your year is off to a great beginning!
