March Madness Gives Way to April Gladness!

While most of the Columbus gets caught up in March Madness and basketball brackets, this time of year means something different to me. The arrival of March Madness signifies the true beginning of signs of Spring…as I was showing houses in New Albany this week, Spring color was showing up everywhere. Daffodils are everywhere, hyacinths are scenting the air with their delicious fragrance, weeping cherries are blooming and the pear trees are about to burst open! This is April Gladness in my book. After 3 gray months, we get a much needed reprieve! So even though UNC came out on top of the March Madness Basketball Tourney, we all win when it comes to April Gladness!
Typically, the end of Spring Break is often the beginning of the Spring real estate season. This year seems to be following the norm…the number of showings increases weekly. Hopefully, that will translate to contracts on homes. After all, we want to do our part in the economy’s turnaround! Never has affordability been what it is and mortgage rates are as low as they’ve been in 50 years. If you have given any thought to a change in housing, now is the time to do it. And we can help! Contact us and we’ll help you get started.

In the meantime, get out and enjoy the flowers and the light! Have a great April!
