The Power of One Degree

One of our service providers gave Tony and me a great little book as a holiday gift titled: 212°...The Extra Degree. The book was written by Sam Parker and Mac Anderson and I just took the time to read and thought the concept was great…applicable to any part of our lives. Here’s the idea of the book (taken from the book):

At 211 degrees...water is hot.
At 212 degrees...it boils.
And with boiling water, comes steam.
And steam can power a locomotive.
And, it’s that one extra degree that...
Makes all the difference.

So many times it’s that one extra degree of effort in business, sports, school, relationships, or attitude that separates the good from the great. It’s a simple and unforgettable concept! It reminds us that seemingly small things can make tremendous differences. 212° is a concept that we have always used in our real estate business, we’ve just not called it that before. Providing the “extra degree” of customer service has always been one of the core values by which Tony and I run our real estate business here in New Albany. We strive to offer our sellers and buyers that one extra degree that can make a tremendous difference in helping them to achieve their goals! Please call us or email us if you have anything real estate or New Albany related on your mind. We’d love to hear from you and demonstrate the power of one degree!

Have a great month!
